I was raised in a family deeply committed to altruism, where the adults around me consistently put others’ needs before their own. This upbringing instilled in me a strong sense of family values and a lifelong passion for helping people. My journey of service began early, from babysitting to roles in customer service and the service industry throughout college. After graduation, I embarked on a Human Resources career, dedicating over 20 years to enhancing workplace experiences and helping individuals find greater satisfaction in their professional lives.
In the later years of my corporate career, I found myself seeking renewed purpose and joy in my work. Although I initially looked for another HR role, I discovered the unique opportunity to become a Career Ownership Coach®—a role that perfectly blends my HR expertise with my passion for empowering others. This new path allows me to leverage my skills in a transformative way, guiding individuals toward career ownership and business opportunities that align with their personal goals.
Becoming a business owner had been a dream of mine, but I once believed it was beyond my skill set and would require an overwhelming life change. As a Career Ownership Coach®, I now experience the fulfillment of helping others find independence and achieve their income, lifestyle, wealth, and equity goals—without the difficult corporate compromises I once faced. This role also provides me with the flexibility to spend quality time with my family and my beloved dogs, Charlie and Bandit, while supporting my sisters and nieces.
