I grew up in a very altruistic family with adults who lived their lives giving their shirts off their backs to help others. Due to this, I am very family oriented and have always loved helping people. This started as babysitting, then in customer service and service industry jobs through college, and right after college I started my Human Resources career where I have loved the 20+ years I spent helping people enjoy work more.

Over the last few years, I have not been experiencing as much joy at work and was just looking for another HR role since HR was all I knew. I had no idea that an opportunity like being a Career Ownership Coach existed. As soon as I learned about it, I was very excited to learn I could use my HR skills in a new way. Being a business owner is something I dreamed about one day, but always thought it would be something outside my skillset and would be a major life change involving even harder work than I was already putting in for a corporation, making them rich.
I look forward to never having to lay off another employee so the company I work for can be profitable. Instead, I will help others find their new way to independence and help them meet their income, life, wealth and equity goals. Also, as a Career Ownership Coach, I will have the flexibility to spend more time with my dog Charlie and the rest of my family, including helping my sisters with my three young nieces and future foster children.
